Group Exercise Classes
Begin your journey to fitness through our range of group exercise classes all equally innovative, intense and effective to help you reach your fitness peaks. From adrenaline pumping to muscle toning all our classes will help keep you fit and healthy.
Classes
Stretch and Tone - This is a low impact, low intensity workout that will tone your muscles, increase your range of motion and flexibility, and help you to relieve stress. Through a series of stretching and toning exercises, participants will develop breathing techniques to compliment this resistance training workout.
HIIT - This is a type of interval training exercise. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between several minutes of high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate to at least 80% of one's maximum heart rate, followed by short periods of lower intensity movements.
Spin - This group indoor cycling class focuses on strength, speed, and endurance, with choreography designed to work and tone every muscle group in the body. For those looking for an intense cardio workout, it's definitely worth giving a Spin class a go. If you’re looking for an all-out cardio blast that can take up as little as 30 minutes of your time, Spin could be the way to go.
Legs, Bums and Tums - This is a low impact aerobic workout designed to tone up your hips, thighs, bottom and stomach. Increase your stamina, endurance and strength with exercises using weights. This full body aerobic workout aims to tone up those flabby areas of your thighs, bum and stomach, great for those who want to lose weight or even for those who simply want to improve their fitness levels.
Kettlebells - This is a total body workout that combines power and strength to build stamina and total body strength. Help strengthen your core and improve posture, while stripping body fat. You will swing, lunge and squat your way to a more toned body whilst improving your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance in our Kettlebells class. Kettlebells are known to improve overall strength, core power, balance, flexibility, and coordination while also melting fat and sculpting healthy and lean muscles. Come join a class and get to grips with a kettlebell, and find out why it's a powerful tool for improving your fitness and overall body composition.
Circuits - This is an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina. It comprises of a number of strength and cardio vascular exercises that are completed one exercise after another. Each exercise is performed for a specified number of repetitions or for a set time before moving on to the next exercise. The great thing about circuits is the adaptability available. They can be developed for cardiovascular improvement, strength, mobility, sport specific…virtually anything. They also improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and muscular endurance.
Core - This class is designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture through performing a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen and back muscles. The instructor may include a variety of equipment in this great workout. Enjoy a quick class focused on strengthening the core.
All classes are free to Single Inclusive Members or just £5 per class. To book your class please call in at reception.
