Our fully equipped, air-conditioned gym offers a range of fitness equipment for everyone. Choose from cardiovascular machines such as treadmills and rowers, resistance equipment and a dedicated free weights area.
Before using the gym you'll need to complete an induction, so our fitness instructors can check you are capable and well enough to train. This will give you the opportunity to get advice about other activities the centre may offer which could help you achieve your fitness goals.
Did you know that keeping your workout more varied and challenging will actually keep you much fitter? So, for a fitness programme tailored to your needs, just ask one of our fitness instructors and they'll be happy to put together a workout to suit you.
The age limit for people using the gym is 15 years and above.
Junior Gym
We provide an opportunity for the younger fitness enthusiasts to use our gym. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4.15-5pm we hold our junior gym sessions for 11-14 year olds and they are a great way to exercise with your friends in an informal and safe environment.
During the supervised sessions, you can use:
- cardiovascular machines - running, cycling, rowing and cross training
- resistance weights
We can also provide a personalised training programme for each person and there is a maximum of eight people at any one time and an induction is required before the use of any gym equipment. The cost is £3 per session and palces vcan be booked by telephoning 01909 738460.
